Who we are

The Assembly Line is led by Diane Cunningham alongside place and marketing professionals that come together as projects demand.

Diane is an experienced project manager with a strong marketing background. She is skilled at working with multiple stakeholders, from to volunteers to board level.

Her place experience includes town centre activation projects, commercial and operational models and carrying out engagement work with institutions, corporates, small businesses and traders. On larger projects with multidisciplinary teams, she is project lead and client contact.

Alongside her place work, Diane has 20+ years of experience in marketing and client development with FTSE 100 companies, specifically in the business services sector and with those providing services to government.

Diane holds an MSc in Place Management and Leadership and was appointed as an Expert to the government’s High Streets Task Force (2020-4) advising places across England on their town centre challenges.

She is a Fellow of the Institute of Place Management awarded to those who have had a considerable impact upon place management.

She was also appointed to the inaugural London Markets Board established to protect and grow London’s street markets and is a former charity trustee of The London Society.

Diane sits on the board of The Fabric District CIC in Liverpool.

Collaboration brings new ideas and results

We bring the best team together based on the specific needs of the project and expertise required.

Many of our projects include Sarah Taylor, a London-based market operator, small business and community event specialist and Matt Bell a commercial buildings operator and retail expert based in the north west. We work with Leonore, Lucy and other specialists as projects demand.

If you’d like to collaborate on a joint pitch or develop a project together get in touch.
